These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Uniq Massage website and the services we provide at our McKinney, TX location. By booking an appointment, purchasing a membership or gift card, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services or website.
1. Services
Uniq Massage provides professional massage therapy services performed by licensed massage therapists. All services are offered for therapeutic and wellness purposes only. Our services are not a substitute for medical treatment, diagnosis, or advice. If you have a medical condition, please consult your physician before booking a session.
2. Appointments and Booking
Appointments may be booked online, by phone, or in person. By booking an appointment, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at our discretion.
Session times begin at the scheduled appointment time, regardless of late arrival. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session at the full session rate.
3. Cancellation and No-Show Policy
We ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice or failure to arrive for a scheduled appointment may result in a cancellation fee.
- 24+ hours notice: No charge
- Less than 24 hours notice: Up to 50% of the session fee
- No-show: Up to 100% of the session fee
We understand that emergencies happen. Please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate your situation.
4. Health and Safety
You are responsible for disclosing any health conditions, injuries, allergies, or medications that may affect your massage therapy session during the intake process. Certain conditions may be contraindicated for massage therapy, and your therapist reserves the right to modify or decline a service if it may be harmful to your health or safety.
Please do not book an appointment if you are feeling ill, have a fever, or have recently been exposed to a contagious illness. We reserve the right to cancel your appointment if you arrive showing signs of illness, with no cancellation fee applied.
5. Payments
Payment is due at the time of service. We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods as indicated at time of booking. Prices are subject to change without notice. Applicable taxes will be added to all services where required by law.
6. Memberships
Membership terms, billing cycles, and cancellation policies are outlined at the time of enrollment. Memberships are non-transferable and are intended for individual use only. Unused sessions may roll over as specified in your membership agreement. We reserve the right to modify membership pricing or benefits with reasonable advance notice.
7. Gift Cards
Gift cards are non-refundable and have no cash value. Lost or stolen gift cards cannot be replaced. Gift cards do not expire and may be used toward any service or product offered at Uniq Massage.
8. Conduct and Professional Boundaries
Uniq Massage is a professional therapeutic environment. Any inappropriate conduct, sexual advances, or requests for sexual services will result in the immediate termination of your session and you will be charged the full session fee. You may also be prohibited from future bookings and, if warranted, law enforcement will be contacted.
We expect all clients to treat our staff with respect. Abusive, threatening, or harassing behavior will not be tolerated.
9. Liability Limitation
Uniq Massage is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your use of our services beyond what is caused by our direct negligence. By booking a session, you acknowledge that massage therapy involves physical contact and agree to assume reasonable risks associated with such services. You are responsible for accurately disclosing your health status prior to each session.
10. Website Use
The content on our website is provided for general informational purposes only. We make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy or completeness of any information on the site. Unauthorized use of our website content, trademarks, or images is prohibited.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised Terms will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services or website after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Collin County, Texas.
